Jennifer Pisano, MD is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago in the section of Infectious Diseases and Global Health and Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. After completing medical school at Rush Medical College, in Chicago, IL she completed her Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship training at the University of Chicago Medicine as well as a Medical Education Research, Innovation, Teaching and Scholarship (MERITS) Fellowship. She is serves on the SHEA antimicrobial stewardship committee and is a member of the IDSA Leadership Institute 2019 class. Dr. Pisano’s academic interests include evaluating the impact of provider feedback on antibiotic prescribing patterns and antimicrobial stewardship in immunocompromised hosts.
