Hi, I am Junaid Farooq MD and I am a Fellow PGY 5 in Infectious Disease & Critical Care medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I grew up in Indo-Pak Subcontinent where I finished my education till medical school. I moved to the USA for Intermal Medicine residency and then fellowship in ID currently. My field of interest in ID is infections related to immunosuppresed state, in particular post-transplant patients. I am interested in transplant Infectious disease. I am a former international badminton player. In my free time I do a archtecture photgraphy and nature drone videography. I also do open source software development with focus on cybersecurity.
