Nicole Cassarino, MPH is a first year medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine, where she is a member of the Health Justice Scholars Program. Nicole is interested in health equity and improving healthcare for individuals with a history of incarceration. For the past three years, Nicole has worked with her mentor, Dr. Alysse Wurcel, to study health disparities among incarcerated populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
