Dr. Sylvia LaCourse MD, MPH is an Infectious Disease physician and Assistant Professor in Medicine and Global Health, Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her research focusses on improved case detection of tuberculosis and prevention strategies in pregnant people and children in high HIV burden settings. Current research activities also include studies on SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence and antibody response in pregnant people, their infants, and household contacts.
