Dr. Jose Gonzales Zamora is an Associate Professor of Medicine at University of Miami. He is currently the Associate Program Director of the Infectious Disease Fellowship Program at University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is also the Infectious Disease Course Director at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He obtained his MD. degree from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in Lima, Peru. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at John H. Stroger Hospital in Chicago, IL and completed his Infectious Disease Fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, IL. His main interests include HIV/ hepatitis C cointection, hospital acquired infections, and COVID treatment and prevention.
