Argentine pediatrician with postgraduate studies in Pharmacoepidemiology. Professor of Epidemiology at the Universidad Austral School of Medicine, Argentina. Currently working at the Epidemiology Department of Hospital de Niños Ricardo Gutierrez, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Medical degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1991, completed his pediatric residency in Hospital de Niños Ricardo Gutierrez in 1997, and a fellowship in Pediatric Pharmacology Research Unit supported by Columbus Children´s Hospital International Scholar Program Ohio in 2002. Earned Master’s degree in pharmacoepidemiology from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona in 2009 and the Foundation Mérieux -University of Geneva Advanced Course of Vaccinology (ADVAC) France in 2016.
Principal investigator and co-investigator of multiple research studies in Latin America, including clinical trials, pharmacoeconomics and safety vaccines studies. He also worked as an international consultant for the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization, Sabin Vaccine Institute and Pharmaceutical Companies. Actually Head of Pediatric Research Board Argentina Pediatric Society and Member of the Global Vaccine Data Network (GVDN). More than 50 publications
