Omar Harfouch MD MPH is an infectious diseases fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He holds a master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a focus in epidemiology. He is a founding member of the Lebanese Medical Association for Sexual Health. His research interests include the epidemiology and prevention of HIV among Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender individuals and anal cancer screening in this population. His clinical interest focuses on providing HIV and gender affirming care to transgender individuals.
