Ana Del Valle Penella was born and raised in Monterrey Mexico, where she graduated from Universidad de Monterrey medical school. She completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, FL and is currently a fellow at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is interested in pursuing a career as a clinician educator and she has a special interest in medical education, immunocompromised hosts and congenital CMV.
