Dr. Kari Simonsen is the Carol Remmer Angle Presidential Chair of Pediatrics, Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Pediatrician in Chief of Children's Hospital and Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. She is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, and currently serving as Chair of the Public Policy and Government Affairs Committee of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
