Adam MacNeil, PhD, MPH is Deputy Branch Chief for Epidemiology in the Respiratory Viruses Branch, CDC. He has co-led the Epidemiology Taskforce as part of the COVID-19 response. He has worked at CDC for 14 years and has supported studies and outbreak responses to numerous diseases including Ebolavirus Disease, Monkeypox, Varicella, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, Tuberculosis, Lassa Fever, and HIV.
