Eric Bhaimia completed his general ID fellowship at Rush in 2021, followed by a 1-year transplant ID fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester in 2022. He has since returned to Rush as a new member of the Transplant ID team. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago (NorthShore) program and medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Illinois. His interests include pre-transplant protocol developement for SOT and BMT recipients, vaccine implementation, and outcomes of infectious complications in transplant recipients.
