Dr. Jillian E. Hayes, PharmD, BCIDP, is an Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Jillian obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina, then completed her PGY1 and PGY2 ID pharmacy residencies at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After spending the first three years of her career with AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, she headed home to the Carolinas to join the team at Duke.
She is an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Publications and Podcasts committee, as well as the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Infectious Diseases Practice and Research Network (ACCP ID-PRN). Her interests within infectious diseases include antimicrobial stewardship in transitions of care, incorporation of trainees into antimicrobial stewardship, and trainee wellness and mentoring.
