My name is Zachary Pek and I am a second year Infectious Diseases fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center. I am interested in diagnostic and antibiotic stewardship, quality improvement, and general infectious diseases. My current research interests include optimizing antimicrobial therapy for peripartum infections, and evaluating current trends in candidemia and its associated morbidity.
