Lasya Challa, MD is a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellow at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Health in Dallas. She has a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Austin. Her interests include antimicrobial stewardship, quality improvement and value based care. Her fellowship research focuses on the use of vancomycin in the treatment of MRSA infections. She hopes to expand on her current work to decrease nephrotoxicity among children treated with vancomycin.
