Praveen Kumar Vikraman, MD is a Fellow at Northshore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Hospital in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Vikraman completed his medical degree at the Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center in Bangalore, India. He subsequently completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Vikraman is passionate about teaching and he currently serves as the Chief Fellow in his Infectious Diseases fellowship as well as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Medicine at Northshore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Hospital.
