Breanna A. Polascik, BS is a fourth year medical student at the Duke University School of Medicine who is interested in pursuing a career in Orthopaedic Surgery. She graduated with distinction from Duke University undergraduate with a B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. Breanna then moved to NYC, where she worked for a year in Orthopaedics outcomes research at the Hospital for Special Surgery. In medical school at Duke, Breanna co-founded the Duke Chapter of Medicine in Motion and served on the executive committees of the Duke Chapters of the Association of Women Surgeons and American Medical Women's Association. She is thankful for the opportunity to conduct the present research under the mentorship of Dr. Seidelman, Dr. Hendershot, Dr. Jiranek, and Dr. Seyler.
