Mohamad Yasmin, M.D. Infectious diseases, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA and Case western Reserve University. Current focus centers on antimicrobial resistance research . Projects at Professor Robert Bonomo's lab at the Cleveland VA within the realm of genomics and antimicrobial resistance. Beta-lactamase science and BLIs are a special focus as well as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacterales mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance. Other projects involve Translational research aspects utilizing mechanism based susceptibility testing and therapeutic drug monitoring of novel agents in the treatment of CNS infections.
