Ashlan J. Kunz Coyne completed her Pharm.D. at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, followed by two years of clinical pharmacy residency training in acute care and infectious diseases at UF Health Jacksonville. Ashlan is a current pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and health outcomes postdoctoral research fellow at the Anti-Infective Research Laboratory, under the mentorship of Michael J. Rybak. Ashlan's primary research interests include novel antimicrobials for the treatment of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative infections, optimization of antimicrobial PK/PD parameters of efficacy in special populations including the critically ill and morbidly obese, molecular rapid diagnostics, and antimicrobial stewardship.
