Dr. Parisa Khan, PharmD, BCIDP is an Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, TX. She serves in the roles of Antimicrobial Stewardship Subcommittee Co-Chair and Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist Champion at MEDVAMC. Her primary clinical practice area is in the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) Clinic, where she works alongside a team of infectious diseases providers to ensure excellent care of veterans receiving IV antimicrobial therapy in the outpatient setting. She also serves in teaching roles for MEDVAMC’s pharmacy residency programs and has recently expanded her preceptorship to antimicrobial stewardship learning experiences for infectious diseases fellows.
