Brittani Weichman PharmD, is a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at UnityPoint Health Meriter. She graduated pharmacy school from Drake University in Des Moines, IA and completed multiple infectious disease research projects within the UnityPoint Health Des Moines during her time there. Prior to pharmacy school she completed her undergrad in Biochemistry and Microbiology in 2012 from University of Iowa. Her plan is to complete a PGY2 in Infectious Disease Pharmacy next year and then practice as an Infectious Disease Pharmacist after residency. Her areas of interest include diagnostic stewardship and ambulatory care antibiotic stewardship.
