James R. Beardsley, PharmD, BCPS is an Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and the Course Director for Pharmacology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. He received a BS in pharmacy from Oregon State University (1978) and a PharmD from the University of Texas (1988), after which he completed an Internal Medicine specialty residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Jim maintains a practice in Infectious Diseases and has served as the PGY1 pharmacy residency director at Wake Forest Baptist for over 20 years. His main research interests focus on Antimicrobial Stewardship and Medical Education.
