Philip Toltzis MD is an attending pediatrician at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and a Professor of Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, both in Cleveland, Ohio. He has dual training in Pediatric Infectious Disease and Pediatric Critical Care. His research has focused primarily on the epidemiology of hospital-acquired infections in children, and on the acquisition of antibiotic resistant organisms, both within the hospital and the community, among the pediatric age group.
