Nick Bennett, PharmD, BCIDP, is Manager of the Antimicrobial and Diagnostic Advisement Program (ADAP) at Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO. In his current position, Nick’s role is a clinical and operational hybrid. He co-led the development of an innovative, centralized, system-wide ADAP that operates in both inpatient and outpatient care areas. Nick maintains involvement in practice research, antimicrobial stewardship oversight and expansion, training of students and residents, continual evaluation and implementation of innovative antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship initiatives, among other responsibilities. He is actively involved in health care organizations including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). Nick also leads an advisory board for the Midwest Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative.
