My name is William A Costello Jr, DO and I am a PGY-3 Internal Medicine resident at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC. I am currently pursuing a career as a Oncologist and I am in the process of applying for fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Starting residency with the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, inspired in me an interest in taking part in contributing to the development of emerging science by participating in our communities Covid Virtual Hospital and data analysis. This is my focus for presenting at the ID Week conference this year. Outside of medicine, my family and I, including our recently born daughter, look forward to the next steps in life together as residency comes to a close.
