Fadi A. Haddad, M.D, FIDSA is a board certified infectious diseases medical doctor who has been in practice for over 15 years. He is the epidemiologist and head of the antimicrobial stewardship program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He is dually certified in both the American Board of Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.
He graduated from the faculty of medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1996. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine in 2001 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey and completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases in 2003 at New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York. His practice is focused on infectious diseases in different settings with emphasis on the care of patients with multidrug resistant organisms. He founded the Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He has co authored several papers on different topics in infectious diseases. He appeared in many media interviews on different infectious disease topics affecting the San Diego community. He was voted top San Diego Infectious disease doctor in 2015, 2017 and 2021. He is married with four children. He enjoys writing, painting, playing chess and sports.
