Yueh-Ming (Ming) joined AstraZeneca in 2019, and is a Director of Virology and Vaccine Discovery within the AstraZeneca Vaccines and Immune Therapies unit. Ming leads a team that focuses on the discovery and characterization of novel virus vaccines and therapies. Ming received her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and pursued post-doctoral training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she was a faculty member at the University of Washington Department of Immunology where her research focused on the host innate immune response to RNA viruses, and the discovery of novel vaccine adjuvants.
