Takahiro Matsuo, M.D., is a clinical chief fellow of UTHealth McGovern Medical School/MD Anderson Cancer Center. He completed internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo, Japan. His main interests are immunocompromised ID and medical education. His current research projects mainly include fungal infections in cancer patients. Dr. Matsuo is ID/IM board certified in Japan.
