Hi! I'm a third-year pediatric resident at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. I was born in White Plains in Westchester, New York and spent time growing up both in the southern Westchester area and in the south Bronx. I have applied and am currently interviewing for fellowship in Adolescent Medicine for the 2023-2024 academic year. My current research at Stony Brook, which I will be presenting at IDWeek, is a descriptive study on the safety of doxycycline use in children less than 8 years old for the treatment of Lyme disease. Previously, I have done bioinformatic analytical research on the hominoid CD4 genes and the evolutionary advantage of CD4 over SIV in African Great Apes at the University at Albany.
