My name is Zahra Rikhtegaran Tehrani. I'm a PhD in medical biotechnoliogy and currently work as a research associate at the University of Maryland's Institute of Human Virology (IHV). The focus of my research is on the immune response to viral infections in humans. The development of diagnostic assays for infectious diseases in humans is another area of interest of mine.
