Jim Arbogast is Hygiene Sciences and Public Health Advancements VP for GOJO. He entered product development after his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA. Prior to GOJO, he worked for Clorox and Dial. Dr. Arbogast has formulated hundreds of consumer products and made many contributions to advancing hand hygiene science, especially for PURELL. He has made numerous presentations at a wide variety of scientific conferences, been part of multiple popular press articles, has been an inventor on >70 patents and co-authored >40 peer-reviewed publications. All of those are driven by his passion for educating on public health topics and advancing hygiene science plus infection prevention! He resides in Bath, Ohio with his wife and three children.
