Rodrigo Cachay Figueroa, MD, is a physician graduated from the "Alberto Hurtado" School of Medicine at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) and an Associate Researcher at the Instituto de Medicina Tropical Alexander von Humboldt of UPCH, Lima - Peru. His main research interests are clinical and epidemiological studies focused on Zika virus and other arboviruses, Tuberculosis, HTLV-1, Acute infection and Post-Acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
