Dr. Chales Gerba is a professor in the Depts. of Environmental Sceince and Enviromentall Health at the Univerityof Arizona. He studies the transmission of viruses through the environment (water, food and fomites) and methods of control. He has published more than 500 journal articles on this topic. He is currently conducting studies on the application of disnfectants for the control of SARS-CoV-2 on various enviromental surfaces.
