Dr. Alejandra Benitez is a statistical scientist at Genentech. She received her PhD in biostatistics from UC Berkeley in 2020, advised my Dr. Maya Petersen. Alejandra's research interests are in constrained optimization problems in medicine and public health, such as allocation of resources, using machine learning and causal inference approaches.
