Nhi Nguyen, PharmD, is the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) in Galveston, Texas. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. Her research areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship, gram-negative resistance, and oral antimicrobial therapy for complicated infections. After residency, Nhi plans to obtain board certification in infectious diseases and provide patient care as a clinical specialist in an acute care setting while precepting students and contributing to research. In her free time, Nhi enjoys exploring new cuisines and traveling.
