Mario A Torres received his medical degree from Fundacion Universitaria Sanitas School of medicine in Bogota, Colombia before pursuing a research fellowship at Lumen Foundation, a nonprofit research organization developing telemedicine and AI protocols for management of STEMIs, in Miami, FL. After 2 years, he moved to Poughkeepsie, NY where he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Nuvance Health - Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Currently, he is a first-year Infectious Disease fellow at Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH. His clinical interests include transplant ID and infectious diseases in immunocompromised hosts. He is also passionate about medical education and is the founder and content creator of @IDtrivia, a Twitter account dedicated to furthering medical education on infectious disease topics via questions and infographics.
