Dr. Martie Vicent received her PharmD from Nova Southeastern University, completed her PGY1 at Advent Health Orlando, and practiced as a clinical pharmacist at UF Health Leesburg before moving to Rhode Island to start her Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Fellowship. Martie's current interests include biofilm development and bacterial resistance. She enjoys being part of the clinical team while mentoring students both in and outside of the classroom. When not in the lab, Martie's hobbies include working out at her local CrossFit gym, hiking through the Northeast, and cooking with friends.
