Ana Strezova – MD, MSc, Director, Senior Clinical Research and Development Lead, GSK - Rixensart, Belgium
Ana Strezova has graduated as a medical doctor from Ss. “Cyril and Methodius” University – Skopje, N. Macedonia. She holds Master of Science degree in Immunology and a specialization in Transfusion Medicine. Prior to her career at GSK, she worked as an assistant professor of Immunology at the same university.
Ana has been part of the clinical department at GSK since 2009. Her current role is Senior Clinical Research and Development Lead on the Shingrix Project. During her career, she has worked in the clinical development department on various projects, including late clinical development on pneumococcal vaccine and Immunotherapeutic projects. Ana was part of the Shingrix clinical team that oversaw the completion of the pivotal efficacy studies in older adults and participated in license applications. After that, she worked in the early clinical development department and led the C. difficile first time in human study. She was involved in a several of discovery, early projects and human challenge study.
Ana lives with her teenage son and her partner. They enjoy travelling, exploring different cultures, and playing tennis.
