Ms. Scarlett Bergam, MPH, is a first-year medical student at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She recently completed a 2021-22 Fulbright Research grant in South Africa, where she tested a sexual health intervention for adolescents living with HIV. She received her prior BA in Public Health and MPH in Global Health at Brown University. With previous research projects in the field of infectious disease, reproductive health, and emergency medicine, she hopes to continue to merge these interests through a Health Policy concentration at GWU.
