I am Young Kyung Yoon, M.D., Ph.D., at Korea University College of Medicine. I work as an ID specialist. I have managed a laboratory focusing on multidrug-resistant microorganisms and immune responses to microbial infection. Recently, I am conducting a study using metagenomic analysis on the characteristics of autoimmune diseases of COVID-19. Also, I am interested in the impact of the intestinal microbiota on the colonization of the multidrug-resistant microorganisms in patients infected with multidrug-resistant bacteria.
