Dr. Shakti Singh has more than 16 years of research experience in viral, bacterial, and fungal pathogenesis and immunology, specifically in heterologous immunity, vaccine, and immunotherapeutics development. His key focus area includes cross-kingdom vaccine development against multiple hospital-acquired infections: Candida albicans, Candida auris, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Acinetobacter baumannii, and Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae, the pathogenesis of Mucormycosis and Candida auris and their immunotherapeutic development.
