James W. Snyder, Ph.D., D(ABMM), F(AAM) is the Director of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Molecular Diagnostic Laboratoroy at the University of Louisville Hospital. He holds the academic rank of Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of Louisville School of Medicine. He holds membership in the following professional societies: American Society for Microbiology, Pan American Society for Clinical Virology, Infectious Disease Society of America, and the South Central Association for Clinical Microbiology. In addition to this daily duties as Director, he maintains an active research program focusing on clinical trials and technology/product assessemtn in addition to teaching pathology residents, infectious disease fellows, and medical students.
