My name is Monica Wei. I am an MD-PhD Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. I study competitive interactions between commensal bacteria in the skin microbiome. In particular, I focus on identifying novel bacterial inhibitors of Methicillin-resistant Staphyloccus aureus and uncovering natural products that may serve as novel antimicrobial products.
