Dr Debby Ben-David M.D., Is the director of the Infection Control Unit at Wolfson Medical Center. She earned her M.D. from Tel-Aviv University and has specialization certificates in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She performed an Infection Control and Healthcare Epidemiology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Currently she is a senior lecture of and Infectious Diseases at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. She is an active participant in international conferences and has many academic and scientific publications. Her main research areas are the epidemiology of carbapenem resistance Gram-negative bacteria in acute and long- term care facilities and prevention of device associated infections.
