Dr. Hussam Tabaja is a senior infectious diseases fellow and an assistant professor at the Mayo Clinic Rochester Campus. He has several peer-reviewed publications in the field of infectious diseases covering the epidemiology of antimicrobial-resistant Gram-negative pathogens, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and Non-tuberculous mycobacteria. Dr. Tabaja is enrolled in the Orthopedic Infectious Diseases career track at Mayo. In addition to his prior work, his current research is focused on hardware-associated infections specifically of orthopedic devices, arterial grafts, and neuromodulator devices.
