Gabriela Del Bianco, MD Assistance Professor Clinical Research McGovern Medical School UTHealth
Dr. Del Bianco is an Assistance Professor in Pediatric Infectious Disease, a clinical researcher in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Health Science Center in Houston. Gabriela Del Bianco studied in Argentina and then obtained MD from University of Buenos Aires. She has been with University of Texas Medical School Pediatrics Department for 15 years, where she is part as faculty with a clinical research emphasis in HIV. She has a strong track record of achievements in clinical trials. Her work has been recognized in many participation on national studies .She serves as a program coordinator of the Ryan White Part D and the Minority AIDS Initiative program for people living with HIV. She oversees the care coordination and patient navigation services. Her unique blend of off label medication use and in-the-field experience with HIV has led her to being involved on SARSCOV 2 research with success in managing clinical studies and bringing timely trial results. She is currently involved in several COVID19 research studies and working on a biobank for emerging diseases in pediatric population.
