Deana Agil, MS is a first-year Epidemiology PhD student at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. She received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from UNC, and a master's degree in physiology from NC State. She currently works as a graduate research assistant within the UNC School of Medicine at the Institute of Global Health and Infectious Diseases' Center for AIDS Research.
