Dr. Jennifer McKinsey, MD FAAP is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine and at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and has practiced Pediatric Urgent Care Medicine at Children's Mercy Kansas City since 2012. She attended medical school at the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency and Pediatrics Chief Resident year at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jennifer has been an invited speaker for the Society for Pediatric Urgent Care national conference and educational webinars and won the Children's Mercy Kansas City Department of Pediatrics Early Career Clinical Achievement Award in 2021. She enjoys providing medical care for children while educating medical students and residents in an urgent care setting. She is passionate about kids, teaching others, and doing Quality Improvement work related to Antibiotic Stewardship in Pediatric Urgent Cares.
