David R. Snydman, MD, FIDSA, FAST, FACP is Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and the Emeritus Chief of the Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Diseases (Chief from 1988-2019). He received the Walter Stamm mentor award from IDSA in 2015. His interests include transplant related infections, hospital infections and medical microbiology. He has also received numerous awards including a citation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Distinguished Facutly award from Tufts University School of Medicine and the Ken Kaplan award from the Massachusetts Chapter of the Infectious Disease Society.
