Ana Simonyan, PharmD, BCACP is a Clinical Pharmacist in the Infectious Disease Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, MO, and went on to complete a PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Cleveland Clinic and a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy/General Internal Medicine. Within the Infectious Disease Clinic, Dr. Simonyan assists with all aspects of medication management, access, and monitoring for patients with viral hepatitis (including those with and without HIV co-infection), those on pre-exosure prophylaxis for HIV, and others with complex infections requiring specialty medications. As part of her work in the Infectious Disease Clinic, Dr. Simonyan partnered with the Vanderbilt Bridge Clinic to help deliver hepatitis C care to patients with opioid use disorder. She is passionate about demonstrating pharmacy value through outcomes and interdiscinplinary collaboration to deliver high quality patient care!
