Hannah Sans is a 4th year medical student at the University of California, San Francisco. She attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate with a double major in Integrative Biology and Public Health. She went on to earn a Masters of Public Health degree with an emphasis in Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate years, she has investigated a range of organisms including HIV, oncogenic viruses, COVID-19, and tuberculosis. Pursuing her passion for primary prevention, she will be applying into Family Medicine residency programs this year and hopes to continue engaging in infectious disease research throughout her journey into medicine.
